About Cesfac

Spanish Feed Manufacturers Confederation (CESFAC) is a professional non-profit organization that coordinates and represents the interests of çanimal feed businesses and their associates before the government and third parties. CESFAC is composed of fifteen regional associations and also represents and defends their interests before the regional governments.

We are the representative of this sector in the European Feed Manufacturers' Federation (FEFAC), in the Spanish Food and Drink Industry Federation (FIAB) and in the Spanish Interprofessional Organization of Animal feed.

Our goal is to help you face the ever-changing challenges of today's market. Therefore, we offer useful, practical and up-to-date guides and different and helpful work techniques.

On December 3, 2015, CESFAC was officially recognized by the European Parliament as an organization or group of transparent interest under Nº 295607419789-44 and registered for that purpose in the Public Registry that this institution manages and that allows our representatives full access to the MEPs.

The fourteen regional organizations who are members of CESFAC make a great effort, year after year, to represent our manufacturers, with a continual increase in the number of members.

The role of these associations is becoming more and more important. CESFAC works side-by-side with its member organizations and manufacturers in order to be as close as possible to their reality and the daily problems that they have to solve.

An open-door communication policy is essential to achieve this, because from this comes transparency and work efficiency. That is why in our decision making process, everyone participates: the governing body (the general assembly and the board of directors), the advisory bodies (board committees, the committee of member association directors and the advisory board to the president) and all the member associations. This ensures the flow of information to the businesses. This transparency is also reflected in our statutes, under Article 7: “The member organizations have the complete right to inform and be informed promptly of the Confederation actions and the matters which affect them”.

The purpose is to be closer to your reality and the daily problems in our effort to solve them.
